FLYMETA
A collection of over 300 boarding passes (NFTs) that evolve over time depending on external elements such as climate change, wars, injustices, historical events... etc.
The project is focused on storytelling, triggering memories from the past and projections into the future.
PROCESS
I created a database of boarding passes by collecting over 200 real ones through travel, friends, and vintage collections.
Each boarding pass was photographed, then stripped of its details to create a clean base for creation.
I researched each destination to understand what it’s known for, what makes it unique, and to find inspiration in its colours, textures, and words.
INSTALL-

Through an interactive installation, the viewer could navigate through and feel the subtle resistance as the controller mimics the act of flipping through paper. Pushing the boundaries of virtual exploration where every flip reveals a different story.
